Thinking back over my past, I have often asked the question “Why me God?”. My life has been one sad story after another, as well as triumphs along the way. So much so that my brother has always told me that I should write a book. Maybe one day. For now, I haven’t been able to get away from the idea of writing a blog. Let me say, that I have NO clue what I’m doing, but I’m willing to share my story in the hope that it will help someone out there.

As I share my story, it won’t be difficult to understand why there were numerous periods in my life when I desperately and angrily asked “Why me God”? Why is this happening to me? Don’t you love me? Where are you? It’s true that I have suffered through some heart-wrenching experiences, but looking back from where I am today, I can see the hand of God throughout my life. I see His faithfulness to me. I have seen Him work in my life and literally change my heart, soul and mind. Because of the miracles He has performed, I have seen firsthand how sharing my story has encouraged others. It is now with a very humble heart that I ask “Why me God?” Why use ME? The only answer I have is that I am willing to talk about those dark places of my life where only God could shine a light to lead me out of the darkness.

My intent is to share life experiences and what I learned along the way. Although I can’t look at every situation and know the reason why they happened, there are countless lessons learned that are worth sharing.
